The Showdown SBCs are back for EA FC 24, with the first set being the highlight of a London derby. Here is everything you need to know to unlock Mykhailo Mudryk or Dejan Kulusevski.
On Monday, November 6th, Tottenham hosts Chelsea in a London derby between two teams with very different fortunes. Just days before the start of the Premier League season, Harry Kane sent a dagger through the hearts of Spurs fans by leaving London for Bayern Munich.
Instead, first-year manager Ange Postecoglou has Tottenham top of the Premier League after 10 games. Meanwhile, expectations were high for Chelsea heading into 2023 after spending more than $350 million on transfers in the summer window.
However, injuries and a lack of consistent goalscoring have left Chelsea in 11th place heading into November. All signs point to Tottenham taking care of business against their London rivals, but that didn't stop EA from making its own bet on the match in FC 24.
How does the EA FC 24 Showdown SBC's work?
EA FC 24 features Chelsea's Mykhailo Mudryk and Tottenham's Dejan Kulusevski in the first Showdown SBC of the year. Players can take on one or both challenges. A win will give the corresponding player a +2 upgrade, while a tie will give both players a +1 upgrade, pending the outcome of the match on Monday, November 6th.
