FUT 22: Carlos Vela available in FUT via TOTS SBC

MLS veteran Carlos Vela has made the leap into the TOTS promo for FUT 22 Ultimate Team (FUT) via SBC, the Mexican has a 90 rating.
The 33-year-old winger is the first pro with a TOTS card not active in Europe. Vela has been under contract with Los Angeles FC in the US Major League Soccer (MLS) since January 2018. The Mexican had previously appeared in the jerseys of Arsenal FC and Real Sociedad, among others, and is still a well-known name among football fans in Europe. One can argue about the sporting foundation of his TOTS recording: Vela has scored four goals in nine league games so far in the 2022 season and prepared two goals - no comparison to his outstanding season in 2019 with 34 goals in 31 games.
The TOTS item gives Vela an overall rating of 90 points, compared to its regular gold variant (83) all base values have been increased. Speed (94), dribbling (92) and shooting (90) are in the 90s, while passing (85) and physique (80) are still in the 80s. To unlock Vela in his TOTS version for community picks in FUT 22, a Squad Building Challenge (SBC) must be completed with a required team by May 9th. The cheapest solution for TOTS-Vela costs between 35,000 and 40,000 coins, insofar as all the required players have to be bought.
