FIFA 23 was the last EA's soccer franchise to play under the FIFA moniker before the series was renamed EA Sports FC. EA has promised this year's games won't be easy, however, with the addition of a World Cup mode and new cross-play features.
We don't expect FIFA 23 to hit shelves until September or October, but that's not to say you can't try new features sooner.
In the weeks leading up to launch, there will be a FIFA 23 closed beta where fans can play in an early version. Here's everything you need to know about the FIFA 23 closed beta.
As a fin across all games in the FIFA series, Electronic Arts either banged or whimpered. Fans around the world will want to see the former, as major changes are expected in various modes: Career Mode, Ultimate Team, VOLTA Soccer, Pro Club, and more.
If you're one of the lucky players If you choose the FIFA 23 closed beta, you'll be asked to sign an agreement not to share information widely. This means that you cannot post screenshots to Twitter, Facebook or other social platforms.
All players invited to the test will have access to Career Mode, Ultimate Team, Random Selection Mode outside of VOLTA Football, and Pro Clubs. A standard kick-off mode is available to all players, usually in conjunction with one of the other main features like career mode.
You can't decide which features can be played, they will be assigned before the code is sent. This means that if you're the only friend who gets the Pro Club, you won't be able to invite them to the game.
Since the codes are randomly assigned, there is always a chance that a game will be invited to beta, but for some reason it cannot be used. If this happens, you may want to send your code to someone who didn't receive the email. Sadly, all codes are tied to the account they're sent to, which means they can't be shared with friends.
